Stereotypes

Perhaps one of the most well-known facts about the revision programme of the 1960s and 1970s was that it served to eliminate racial stereotypes. This page will examine the occurrence of such stereotypes in the earlier volumes, as well as other stereotypes based on class, ethnicity, and gender.
